Prof. Ashwin Seshia

Ashwin A. Seshia is a Professor of Microsystems Technology at the University of Cambridge. He heads MEMS research at the Cambridge University Nanoscience Centre and is a co-investigator of the Cambridge Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction. He has published over 250 peer-reviewed research papers and is a co-inventor on over 20 granted patents. Ashwin is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the Institute of Physics and the Institution of Engineering and Technology. He serves on the editorial boards of the IEEE Journal of Microelectromechanical systems and the IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control. In 2018, he received the IEEE Sensors Technical Achievement Award (Advanced Career) and was elected Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Sensors Council in 2020.
