Meaghan O’Reilly is a Senior Scientist in Physical Sciences at Sunnybrook Research Institute in Toronto, Canada, an Associate Professor of Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto, and the Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Biomedical Ultrasound. She is the 2020 recipient of both the Frederic Lizzi Early Career award from the International Society for Therapeutic Ultrasound (ISTU) and the IEEE Ultrasonics Early Career Investigator Award. She is the current Secretary General of ISTU. Dr. O’Reilly’s research interests include ultrasound therapy applications in the CNS, with a focus on delivery, monitoring and control of microbubble-mediated therapies in the brain and spinal cord.
