Alessandro Stuart Savoia

Alessandro Stuart Savoia received the Laurea degree (M.S.) and the Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from Roma Tre University, Italy, in 2003 and 2007, respectively. He leads research activities at the Acoustoelectronics Laboratory (Department of Industrial, Electronic, and Mechanical Engineering, Roma Tre University) in the field of ultrasonic transducers. His research interests are mainly focused on the development and system integration of MEMS ultrasonic transducers (CMUT and PMUT). He serves the UFFC Society as Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control, since 2017, as Co-Chair of the TPC Group 5 “Transducers and Transducer Materials” of the International Ultrasonics Symposium, since 2018, and as Elected Member of AdCom, since 2021.
